The Principality of Zion is at war with the Earth Federation. On September 18, 0079, Zion Lieutenant Commander Char Aznable leads an attack on the space colony of Side 7. There, he discovers the Earth Federation’s new weapon, the RX-78-2 Gundam, abandoned. He then decides to steal it for himself, setting off a domino effect that will forever change history as we know it. Five years later, on the independent colony of Side 6, a young Newtype finds herself drawn into the hunt for the missing RX-78-2 Gundam. Soon, events unfold in such a way that she finds herself in the pilot’s seat of the new prototype Gundam GQuuuuuuX and participating in underground mobile suit fighting competitions. Surrounded by new friends, she tries to understand her strange abilities and find her place in the world, dreaming of the skies where she can fly freely.
